Fishin' Off's speed, maneuverability and height of eye coupled with a captain with over thirty years of seamanship and shiphandling experience makes the vessel ideally suited to host camera crews from various news and sports networks. In 1999 Fishin' Off was hired by ESPN to escort and coordinate racing activities of approximately thirty kayaks from Oak Bluffs, across Buzzards Bay, and along the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Coast in support of the first version of the X-treme Games hosted by Newport R.I. Despite heavy fog and rough seas Fishin' Off provided safe escort to all participants and enabled embarked camera crews to get remarkable film footage. We have had film crews aboard for Tall Ships events, BOC, and Newport/Bermuda Race.
