We often pick up our customers at the Fort Adams State Dock or make
arrangements to pick them up at docks in Newport Harbor |
| Directions |
From the South: 95N, 138E, cross both the Jamestown
and Newport Bridges. Take SECOND Newport exit. Bear RIGHT at exit and go under the
overpass and take immediate RIGHT at the rotary onto CONNELL HWY. At the traffic
light intersection take a LEFT onto RI 114N (WEST MAIN ROAD). Take immediate right
at first traffic light after Dell's Lemonade onto VALLEY ROAD. Continue on VALLEY
ROAD through several intersections. At the end of VALLEY ROAD bear RIGHT and onto
MEMORIAL BLVD and drive up the hill by First Beach. At the traffic light at the
top of the hill take a LEFT onto BELLVUE AVE for about 1 ½ miles and take a RIGHT
onto RUGGLES AVE. Follow RUGGLES AVE until it ends and bear RIGHT onto WICKHAM RD.
Take a LEFT onto HARRISON AVE. Turn RIGHT onto FORT ADAMS DR. Follow the road through
the gate all the way down to the brick Welcoming Center by the fort. Fishin' Off is
located at the STATE DOCK, which is adjacent to the Block Island Ferry Dock. Our dock
is the one that has its pilings painted white. Parking is free.
From the North: 95S, 24S, 114S also known as WEST MAIN RD. You will
stay on 114S/WEST MAIN RD for several miles passing through PORTSMOUTH and MIDDLETOWN.
After you pass a Chile's Restaurant and a Dunkin Donuts take an immediate LEFT at the
traffic light onto VALLEY RD. Continue on VALLEY RD through several intersections. At
the end of VALLET RD bear RIGHT onto MEMORIAL BLVD and drive up the hill by First Beach.
At the traffic light at the top of the hill take a LEFT onto BELLVUE AVE for about 1 ½ miles
and take a RIGHT onto RUGGLES AVE. Follow RUGGLES AVE until it ends and bear RIGHT onto
WICKHAM RD. Take a LEFT onto HARRISON AVE. Turn RIGHT onto FORT ADAMS DR. Follow road

| Reservations/Payment |
Deposits of 50% must be received within ten days of the date
I forward a contract to you in order to hold the boat If the contract is not
signed and returned to me with deposit within the ten day period I consider myself
free to book another party. If you are a repeat customer I will try and accommodate
you within reason. Deposits and balance of payment must be in either cash or check
made payable to Fishin' Off Inc. I do NOT accept credit cards. Repeat customers
are eligible for a 10% discount on the price of the charter. |
| Cancellations |
If you make a deposit on a trip and decide to cancel the trip, you
must notify me at least 21 days before the scheduled trip or suffer the loss of the
deposit. In the event that I am able to rebook the original date, I shall refund
your deposit. |
| Inclement Weather |
In the interest of safety the Captain has final say as to whether or
not a trip will be cancelled. In the event of a cancellation all deposits will be refunded. |
| Alcoholic/Drug Policy |
Consumption of beer or wine is allowed on board so long as you are
at least 21 years old and it is consumed in moderation and responsibly. No hard liquor
please. No illegal drugs of any kind are permitted on board. In the event of this
policy being violated the charter shall be terminated immediately and all deposits
and fees shall be forfeited. |
